New Family Members!

Yup. I got the PH up to 7.5. It happend a little to quick IMO but the fish seem to be doing fine. I was hoping to get it to that point in a few days.

I need to get a diff PH kit that can test higher PH levels and see if I can get it slower.

Welp, Im going to be getting more Mbunas, I guess, Unexpected. I gave a list of Mbunas to my LFS and I thought she was just going to check to see if she could get them. Well I didn't hear from her for 2 days so I called her back and she said; "They had them all but 2, they will be in tomarrow after 3pm". Had no idea she was actually going to order them!

I forget how many were on the list. I don't even know how many she even ordered. I didn't even do much research on all of them to make sure they were ok with each other. SOOO. My Ammonia is still ok after adding the other fish, so I will deffinatly be keeping a close watch on the water conditions when I get them.

im buying a 20 gallon for my GF. She has a 10 gallon right now with ammonia at 8+ppm. yikes. Whisper hang on not keeping up with 15 fish. So I bought her a Hagen Aqua Clear 20 which the design theory seem very nice but we will see if it works.

After the 20 gallon is setup and after the tank is settled, I will give her my community fish in my 30 gallon. 3 corys, 2 mollys and 2 guppies. After that I will move my Needle fish, Parrot fish, and pleco to the 30 gallon and have only Mbunas in the 55. My Needle fish preys on baby Mbunas unfortunatly :-( .

This way I can raise the PH to the mbunas liking where the other fish may not tolarate.

I got some work ahead of me and a very short period of time to do it in.

So I got the new fish, they are way to small for my 55 gallon so they are in my 30 and are not aggrasive yet

I asked if they sold my Electric Blue Cichlid because he wasn't in the tank and didnt see him in any other the other tanks, the manager said he jumped out over night!!!! :-( :-( :rip:

I swear he (blue guy) did that on purpose to make me feel bad for bringing him there!

There are 8 fish total. $55 bucks.

2x Auratus
2x Snow White Zebra
1x Albino Auratus
1x Red Zebra
1x Kenyi (or 2)
1x Blue Pindani (I think)

The 2 bottom ones look a like. Im to lazy to go look at my fish tank to make sure.

Some were kinda beat up a little bit so I have them in my 30 gallon with some MelaFix and they seem to be doing better. My 1" Gold fish seem to be more aggrasive then them

The Manager said I could come back and get some others another time. I didn't want to get all of them because I didn't have enough and 8 is already a little to many at once. Thats ok though they will be fine.

I want:
O.B. Zebra
Cobalt Blue Zebra
Blue Johanni
