I just recently added some easy to maintain soft corals to my tank.
I decided to start with easy to maintain polyps... I chose
Protopalythoa Button Polyp
Zoanthus Colony Polyp
Yellow Colony Polyp

Feeding.... i purchased DT's Phytoplancton, dose every other day and spot feeding of mysis shrimp every 3 days.
Is this the regimin others follow???

Any other advice to keep these guys healthy??? (i'm up on the trace elements already)

I would eventually like to add a colt coral.

Thanks,
Kim :flex:

I dont direct feed any of my corals. If the polyps feet are connected to each other then they do not need to be fed individually. If they are standing alone then they reuire food for themselves.

Thanks Nav, i was wondering how i was going to feed each individual especially the buttons, there are 40 small ones on the other side of the rock that you cant see.
liveaquaria.com said to feed mysis periodically and to make sure to feed each indiviual in the colony. Hence my question, experience is good, something i don't have.

If you can get a food called cyclopeze then this really does wonders for corals. a pinch of this and your corals will be fed! Its expensive but the tub lasts forever! (well almost :p )
