he was quite active when he came into work, playing in the current alot of the time.

I just fed a small muscle in there expecting nothing and the moment it hit the floor he came out from hiding and gobbled it down in one

Pretty cool Paul. Have you thought about stacking tanks on top of each other...to get more room.

I'd love to set up my soon to be spare tank, but I can't fit the blasted thing anywhere...and at 6 foot long your suggestion at the top isn't really that applicable ;)

very nice Paul!
Can Congo's have tank mates? or are they too aggresive?

DD

heh already onto that andy, on top of his tank is a 30" hopefully for a couple of snakeheads.

nah that as easy to fit a 6ft in somewhere :S

I'm quite certain you can't have tank mates with them, as there an agresive predactor.

he was out and about this morning, got through the post some moss this morning to tie ontop some wood I'm putting in his tank.

Oh, you lucky thing Paul. If only I had the room I'd be tempted by another congo.

One of the great things about congos is that you don't need to bother sourcing snails for them. Which is just as well, cause Cookie won't be sharing anything. :D

Sure am lucky, this litle dudes so funny, I fed him again tonight and as soon as the muscle hit the floor he was attacking it like mad, such a funny litle face aswell!!

I managed to buy a bulk load of "pond snails" quite cheap which turned out to be ramshorn snails. There now laying eggs all over there tank so once I have a large breeding stock cookie can munch a few more of them.
