New Boys

[Just_Another_One]

I've just divided out my 6Gallon and 5Galllon tanks so Got two new Bettas.

I got this Crowntail for free. I gave away all my community fish this weekend and one of the guys who took some offered me a free Crowntail I didn't get to choose or see the fish before I went to pick it up but turns out it looks identical to my Veiltail (purple/blue/red) just in Crowntail form

TIKA:

My new Deltatail I bought from the LFS for 10 bucks.

My Superdelta tail who i've had for 4 months(currently batteling some NASTY fin rot or tail biting)

They're lovely I really do love the look of deltas. I think that's what I'll look for in my new betta.

Yup he definitly is old and he shows it too . Hes my very first betta I got 4 years ago. Then came Zues, then these new two guys Pandora and Tika... WoW I just relized I've never had a Betta die on me Pretty good.

Hes got cataracts in his eyes and he get little spots of moldy fuzz on the tips of his fins. As soon as I change the water they disapear and none of the other bettas get it.

Not to mention he goes around his tank flareing all day for no reason.

LOL yep. That is just wat he is. He is my baby though n I'm so glad I still have him after 4 years Even though I dropped him on the wood floor once and another time he jumped 4 feet off my dresser onto the wood floor while I was cleaning his tank..... He is still going strong.
