New Boys Settling In...first Pics

So i finally got my two bettas!

I think they are just gorgeous. After months of reading and searching for the proper ones that i wanted...i found em

Ramjet (after roger ramet coz of the red). hes quite small still so am looking forward to watching home grow nice and big!

And this one i find stunning. He has a purple bit (gill or something) that really sparkles when he flares. Hes twice the size of the other one.

Pinky

They get fed twice a day. A mixture of Betta flakes and also ther fine ground food i feed our cichlids and communal tank for colour and growth

Im thinking of breeding pinky down the line or Ramjet when he gets a bit bigger. ive only had them a week so they are still exploring their tank. They have an air stone in there which releases slow bubbles. They both came from a warm tropical tank which had a psycho air stone in it so i figured they wouldnt mind a gentle one.

They are both beautiful fish hun and Pinky really is stunning.

FYI if you didn't want an airstone in your tank you don't have to have one as they are surface breathers, but i know the bubbles do look pretty in tanks

Yeah i wasnt sure about the air stone because of the whole dont like current thing. I got them from the aquarium we get all our cichlids from so they were happy to tell me the water filtration and change they do etc I wanted halfmoons but they didnt have any
