that was sick. it was actually a dark, dark blue, but that's the color it turned out on my camera. i had no clue what color he was in that cup.
as for not enough room, i only have three shelves in my room where i'm "allowed" to put them. i don't think i can cram anymore on the shelves

i was just taking some pics of him and i noticed something odd about him, his fins are really, really short. like my other CTs and even my VTs have long, flowy fins, but his are really short. they're just a bit longer than his body is wide (the top and bottom ones) and his tail isn't very long either. he also has a big dip in the middle of his tail. like where al lthe crowning is, but there's one huge dip in it. i got some more pics so see if you can see what i'm talking about. oh, by the way, his home is bigger than it looks. it holds just over a gallon of water but for some reason it looks tiny in these pics...it is a vase thing, not ideal i know, but i figured something that was over a gallon was better than that filthy cup he was in. i'll be upgrading (most of them) when i can rearrange some things and make more room

see how short his fins are?

edit: in the "i'm cute and you know it" pic, see that big dip in the center of his tail, should i be worried about it?

Hes cute, definatly a combtail not a crowntail, doesn't have enough ray reduction to be a crowntail. What size is his tank thingy?

aha, that's why they're shorter
i really like that look...his tank holds just over a gallon though it doesnt really look like it... its (hopefully...if the 'rents agree) temporary, i just picked it up when i got him so he'd have something better than that nasty water to live in

hahaha should i ask for a partial refund from walmart since they charged me for a crowntail?
just kidding, i adore this little guy

edit: why aren't combtails really wanted? i love his finnage, it's so different

aww he was flaring at aladdin and when he flares, his gills look like a heart shaping his face he's so adorable, it was the first time he faced me when he was flaring. he really is a lovely little boy. is he a steel blue? i'm just curious about color, i've never seen one like this before.
