Just recieved a new bit of kit for my aqaurium. It is a glass ceramic co2 Diffuser to replace my spiral bubble type one. I had to order it from the far east as I couldnt source one here.

It looks the bee's knee's. Lots of teeny tiny bubbles.

Will post a pic of it in action when the lights come back on.

Hi BatSam, nice to have you here. Why not start your own post with questions for us rather than hiding them in other posts. We are very helpfull, dont be shy.

Output of the co2 is timed along with my lights via plug in timers (c02 has a solanoid valve).

*I do not in any way condone the use of home made pressurised gas systems. :hey:

pm me for advice how not to do it

Those plants are really coming along Tom. How long will your Co2 canister last?

:good: Keith.

are you now going to start to up your dosing regime?

I am still only a novice so will maybe start to up it a bit in the near future. i just love the fact that the fish have somwhere that they feel comfy in.

the thing is, you'll have to start to up the dosing now you've gone high tech or you'll loose the plants. You may have to start to introduce more nitrate and phosphate, the micros will be needed more so.

BTW a 2kg FE will on average only do about 4 months ish.

Have you got a drop checker in there?
