New Betta..

Hey all! This is my new betta Twizzler (hehe I recommended this name to someone and now I'm using it!) He is absolutely beautiful but has this indent on the top of his body, right in front of his top fin. I'm guessing he was just born this way but I'm not sure. Anyone see this before? He's very happy in his 2.5 gallon home and has even made a bubble nest. Eating good too! I'm sure he's fine..just was curious if anyone has seen this before.. Thanks! Dianne

I've never seen one with an indent like that before. He looks healthy otherwise but I have no idea what that is about. Other than the strange shape he is a very nice looking fish. Maybe someone in the disease area of the forum would know more about fish with a different shape to them. My guess would be an old injury that has healed but I'm no expert.

Yeah..I thought that as well (that it was an old injury that healed) was just curious to see if anyone else had any clues. He is a gorgeous boy tho!
