New Betta

ooh, I saw a couple of blue HM butterflys whilst I was there. Did you buy it through ebay? if so I know which fish you're getting (he looked good, but then so did the other one)

Nop I didn`t buy him over e-bay.I have contaced Steve trough e-mail, and he send me some pictures. I liked that blue butterfly, he looked lovely so I had to have him . I also getting female to match him so I might have some babys
How is your betta doing? Hope he is not to stressed.

ah bless him... for the last hour he's being trying to blow a bubble-nest but the most bubbles he had without pooping is only about 8. I think it's because the small filter in the tank creates a bit of flow on the surface. Will have to get him something to help because its quite sad watching him work so hard and not achieve anything.

I have to ask, where do you get styrophome cups from? I don't know of anywhere that uses them anymore.. they are all paper/card ones.
Is there anything else I could use? I tried bubble-wrap on my old betta before and all he did was try and attcak it.

I just used a small piece of flat polystyrene and that has worked fine.
