New Betta Photos :)

Hi, I've got my eye on this handsome man for my new tank, I'm cycled, new plants are en route and he's sitting at my local tropical fish shop... Have put him on hold....

Love his colour... What do you think? What kind of betta is he?

He is a beautiful red veiltail.  His color is very striking and his fins look to be in great shape. He is a great find and you will love him.  We require pics of his tank and of him once you get him of course.

They had a four more, all different colours but he was my favourite.... so excited now....

I love it when you can reserve them, it makes it all so real

Missdarwin do you have a tank setup thread? If so can you post the link here? Or if not post a pick of your setup ATM and then what plants are arriving etc?

Can you tell I have run out of room so live all my excitement through others projects?

My tank is still at zeros for my levels which is great! Am hoping to pick him up on Friday, wondering if sand would be better than my ceramic covered with glass pebbles...

How do rate sand over gravel? And would it have an negative effect on a cycled tank?
