New Betta- Not Eating Much

Okay. About 5 minutes ago I dropped in two pellets. He sits there for two minutes, then swims a full lap around the bowl, and then eats one pellet. He has been sitting at the opposite end of the bowl for about 3 minutes now, one pellet still remaining. I only got him yesterday, so does he just need a bit of time, or is possinly not very hungry? Plus, his face is black so I don't know if he's /looking/ at the pellet. I therefore don't really know if he is /interested/ in it.

yeah just let him settle in or maybe try feeding him some bloodworm mine never turn down bloodworm

I just came back from breakfast and the second pellet is gone.
