Hello!

Received my new 1.8W air pump today from China but without tube:

Is this appropriate when ordering air pump? I thought they are assumed to come with tube?

Here's my old air pump barely working but with tube:

Can I use old one? If I can use it, how am I to take it off from old air pump? It does not come off easily.

Thanks.

I'm assuming it's a flexible hose, in which case the chances are it will pull off. If it doesn't then you can cut the tube off near the pump, using a junior hacksaw.

These airline tubes, usually 6mm, are readily available from most, if not all, LFS. Not expensive either.

If you cannot get any airline tube for whatever reasons, you can use the old one from the old air pump.

If cannot twist off or work the tubing off from the old air pump, just cut the tubing at a point with a pair of scissors or something and be sure to wash / rinse the tubing in case debris or whatever may be inside the tube before attaching to new air pump

Maybe I have a DIY tool that would be appropriate to pull tube off gently?
Of course I would wrap with cloth... Well I have needle nose pliers.
