i have a 35gal Hex Tank with $1.00 worth of guppies, a couple ghost shrimp, and a few japanes trapdoor snails that i used for cycling. i just bought a ABF and introduced him to his new home. i temporarily have 2 anubias plants floating (i know they like low levels of light) for his cover and my tank is so far lightly planted. im going to slowly introduce bottom dwelling species like cories and khuli loaches (though i heard they are more fit for brackish?)and flounder . would my ABF eventually enjoy a mate even though i am not sure of its sex yet and do not plan to breed? i heard they are more aggressive toward same sex rather than the opposite, but with this fish's personality i would think it might just want to be king or queen of the castle. any ideaS?
