New 7ft Tank

Hey,
Awesome tank, must take a fair bit of maintenance?
I would have a tank like that if I had the money, room and time - but I have neither of them so I guess it's a no go!
No honestly, your tank is really amazing, well done :good:

nice tank and frame, i am a little bit jealous, no wait I'm not I'm lot jealous.... :grr: dont talk to me.............

Thanks again for all the great comments, its nice to see so many green eyed monsters

Very nice tank Duff, are you expecting any of the Clowns to reach 30cm? What is there grown rate like in big tanks?
Also, what else is in the tank?

I am hoping at least a few of them can reach full size, growth rates can vary a lot but normally upto 1 inch per year until they reach 5" to 6" and then it does depend really on their environment really. I have a freind that has one at 14" and one at just under 13" and they are still growing at around 1/4" per year.

There are 6 Silver Sharks, various Barbs and 6 species of big Rasbora and a couple of other mixed fish.

Id love to see that tank with some huge pieces of wood in it, the ones in their currently seem well outta proportion...i think if you do get that it will give the tank some height and depth rather than the low look currently with all the bottom feeders :D

Wow, I would love some big Clowns. They will look great in your tank.

If i were to walk in your house and see that....only two words would come outa my mouth... "HOT DAYAM!!"

Painting the back of the tank was a nightmare, I had to use a mini extendable roller but only had 3" between tank and wall and was holding the roller by finger tips to reach the bottom, anyway after 4 coats it looked like this

Why didn't you paint it before putting it on the stand...?
