New 7ft Tank

Id love to see that tank with some huge pieces of wood in it, the ones in their currently seem well outta proportion...i think if you do get that it will give the tank some height and depth rather than the low look currently with all the bottom feeders :D

I have some big peices of wood coming soon, I have a coupld of spare bits at the moment but I am in the process of setting up a 75 gallon tank for my Sidthimunki's so I will need some for that tank. Allthough I am getting used to the current decor and it gives plenty of free swimming space to the large rasboras and sharks.

get a fire eel! it'd look so good.

Not really a fan of eel's, they look nice but I've never kept the myself.

Why didn't you paint it before putting it on the stand...?

Because the tank was built on the stand and I couldnt paint the glass before the tank was built.

nice tank duff
you could have a nice asian arowana in there

I like lots of smaller fish rather than a couple of large fish, I did consider it but my main reason for getting the tank was for the Clowns :)

Very nice tank - if you would go planted with a nice carpet of riccia moss - I could live vicariously through your tank.

Ive just added my group of Puntius filamentosus from another tank and they only plant they dont eat is Java fern so thats about as much plant wise as will be going there

Duff, you could try some Anubias.

The last time I tried Anubias the Silver Sharks took a particular liking to it

Between the Silver Sharks and the Filament Barbs Not many plants last long in there apart from the Java fern, I do have some Wisteria and Indian fern growing well in a couple of other tanks so I may well add some of that when I come to cut it back a bit.
