I ordered a 7ft tank a couple of months ago, I got the stand built just in time for the tank to be delivered and built
I had some help to make the main legs of the stand
Then it just needed the main beams putting in and fastening to the wall
I decided to get a sheet of 1/2" plywood and make a front for the frame to hide any joints and tidy it up a bit
Luckily the wife was small enough to get inside and mark the door holes for me
The doors will be going on soon, we are matching the doors on here to the rest of the kitchen and we've only just decided which ones we are getting
And finally this is the tank that was built on the stand
It had to stand 12 days before water could go in but it was slid back into final position within a couple of days.
The tank finally had fish put in it yesterday
Painting the back of the tank was a nightmare, I had to use a mini extendable roller but only had 3" between tank and wall and was holding the roller by finger tips to reach the bottom, anyway after 4 coats it looked like this
On the 12th day I did get some water and gravel in
It took me a couple of days to build the hood and then 2 hours yesterday morning to get the lights working, one of the T5 end caps just would make a good connection for some unknown reason
And this is the finished tank

There are a couple more bits of wood to go in but I will do that after setting up the75 gallon Sidthimunki tank
