Well, I got my 75 gallon tank today and set it up. I'm so exited, I can't wait until it cycles. Ok, here's the specs: 75 gallon tank (duh), Fluval 404 (400gph), Aqua Clear 70(300gph), Stealth 250watt heater, 100lbs of rock, I'll probably add another 50lbs or so, about 25lbs crushed coral, it's about an inch or so thick, fortunately I didn't need a whole lot cause of the rocks. I haven't completely decided on my stocking list yet. Which would you pick:

Option A - 7 yellow labs (already have), 1m:4f red zebras, 5 acei, 1 demasoni, 3 pim pictus (can't get any synos locally, so I thought I give these a try, have heard of the people being successful), 1 bristlenose pleco (finally found a place in town with these).

Or, Option B: 7 yellow labs, 1m:4f metriaclima greshaki, 1:4f pseudotropheus crabro, 1 demasoni, 3 pim pictus, 1 bristlenose pleco.

I've also got a photo diary going in the pic section, check it out if you like. http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=139351

Ginge, I haven't every had a tank this large, so I wasn't really sure on numbers. What do you think I should shoot for as a total number of fish?

Mark, I'm going to add at least 2 more layers of rocks, although I do want to leave some open space at the top, since the rocks are pretty large and there isn't a huge amount of floor space left.

You have a nice number right now if that's how you like it, and you do have room for a few more, the choice is really yours to make. I'd go with option A and perhaps up the number of Acei a bit. If you go with option B, be careful of the Crabro, sometimes they can work out, but they will often become a menace to the tank.

Yeah in a 75 IMO i think you could go for about 18 mbuna it all depends on the aquarium setup and the general agressivness of the fish you want to stock with. Do you have much rock and hiding places stacked around.

I have 100lbs of rock in it now, will be adding another 50lbs or so. If you look at the link I added in my original post, there are several pics. Thanks for all the help.

Is that rock expensive??? If not it might be a good bet get a bit more and stack the rocks high this gives the fish more confidence to go towards the tank and use all teh swimming space also when the fish get bigger it could be a good idea to make the caves a little bigger so the fish can fit in. :)

Nope, it's pretty cheap, cost me $30.00 for 100lbs. I figure I'll probably add another 50-75 lbs.

Well, the water in my tank finally cleared up. So, I thought I'd add a pic.
