They would still need their own space; even the females are quite territorial. I would suggest either a pair or a trio of 1m 2f, but it does depend on the area they'll have.

yeah so if i get 1 pair of rams could i get a single calm cichlid like a dwarf flag

if you look at the top youll see that the only other fish that will share the bottom with the rams is the corries i plan on getting the pleco wont fit

so im trading him in

will tetras eat ram eggs because i decided im getting the trio and i probably wont have room for baby rams
