my one set of fry was verrryyyy slow growers. the slowest growing female turned out to be very petite and small bodyed as an adult. but they did grow up eventualy.

Don't be too worried about their growth at the moment. Just come to see our babies and you'll see how much they have changed since you last saw them. They were the slowest ever but are looking gorgeous now.

Can't wait to see Dink's babies especially as she is the last of the 3 girls we originally bred. Dad to Dink is Taro so she will hold the HM and Butterfly gene and Mum was a gorgeous little cambodian HM, so you never know what you might get!!!!!

Thanks guys. I guess I just worry for their quality of life at the moment. No colour, no visible tails, still see through. There is no interaction between themselves and them and us. Anyhoo, moving the fish around later, bringing bunsen upstairs and moving the fry out of the spawning tank and cleaning that to get that ready. Dinky is fit as a fiddle really, bursting with eggs and looking great, I just want to give him a few extra days, just to be sure.

I've just come home after a few hours shopping and dog walking to find Dink died. I don't know why, she was fit and healthy earlier, no obvious injuries or problems. I'm so gutted

Thanks guys. It's left me totally bewildered. It's left me without my breeding girl and it's left my two remaining girls bickering in their tank. Need some new girls to bump up numbers quick smart, or we are going to have some casualties Breeding plans are now well and truly on hold - non-existent.

Told Cambo he may have the chance to make babies, he seems quite excited by the thought (ok, well I am, I think his little excited wiggle was more at the prospect of BWs ).

Don't know if you ever saw this Mads but this is Dink when she was a little one....named Dink because she was the little runt of the bunch.
