Having some difficulties netting some fish so I can transfer them! I transferred 7 of my 9 X-Ray tetras to a new tank no problem. But the last 2 are little ****!!!

lol

They simply go hide now when i lift the lid because they know what's coming and obviously i don't want to stress them too much.

Any ideas? (please dont suggest removing items from the tank lol)

Move items from the tank (you had that coming lol)

hmmm.... try netting them at feeding time. Feed a floating "treat" such as bloodworms and hope they go up for it, but drop the net in prior to the feeding and just scoop upwards... That, or as said, "Move items from the tank (you had that coming lol)"

No way am i moving this-

They always swim to the left side of the wood, or into the cave lol

Shot myself in the foot making that me thinks!

Ya then try to blood worms, or mabye brine shrimp. Hopfully it'll work, I can see why you don't want to move anything, your tank looks awsome as it is.

 thats nothing compared to some tanks, your is a 5 min job...

My 4ft one in sig lol, i had to strip that to get one bloody bristlenose out,,,,,,,, stop being lazy lol...

Nice tank.. try two nets.. move them with one net into the other. What kind of thermometer is that? is it a digital submersible? or is it on the outside? its hard to tell.

oh it can stay in there if it wont come lol. I really aint up for chasin it, it's way too quick. thing is though the new tanks right next to it, they can see the shoal of friends next door too... if it were me i'd be jumping into the net!

i had the same prblem with my pristellas, would probz still be there now if it werent for my dad

theres one guaranteed way to catch stubborn fish

remove everything from the tank, drain it to 3/4" full, hold a large net at one end of the tank, use a smaller net to chase the fish into the big one.

The 2 net method works great but BEWARE. The last person Miss Wiggle suggested that method to went to the fish store to get a second net came home with the second net AND a new bowfront tank. When you go to the LFS, stay focused. Only a net, only a net!!!!
