Nerite snail missing

I have been away for 3 days and I come back to one nerite snail missing. I have no gravel and I thinkit crawled out but I cant find it. Will it smell realley bad if it dies somewhere in my room. I have looked everywhere and I dont know what to do.

He probably wont stink super bad if he dries out in your room, it's more if they rot in the water that they stink

Check inside your filter, on the back of your filter, on the underside of driftwood, etc. Make sure to check everywhere in the tank.

Nerite snails are known for trying to escape. What are your water parameters? How often did you feed him? What did you feed him?
