neons chasing each other

my neons always seem to be at each other and chasing each other around the tank. is this normal? they dont attack each other or anything like that, just shoot around the tank after each other. it is pretty amusing to watch and im not worried or anything, just curious.

Yep.... that's completely normal Neon behavior.

if they didn't chase eachother then they wouldn't be called schooling fish. I had neon like that. but they died

Yeah, Thats wat they do they are school it got 7 of em they all hang around

Got 7, two died and 5 of them are doing fine. They also chase each other and they absolutely don't school. They did it during the first two days after the introduction into the tank, then probably realized that there's no species in that tank that can threaten them...

I've got 11 mixed in my 30g and 10 neons in my 56g. They all chase each other around, then stop, huddle together, then chase a bit more
