hi guys last night i changed my tank around (more plants bog wood etc) plus a big water change,i realised after doing so one of my neons were very big! i have another tank but its not ready yet so put her and 3 other neons into a bigish breeding tank!!!
this morning i woke to loads of eggs at the bottom of the trap
few questions tho ! iv left the lights off till they hatch and am setting the other tank up now for when they do. is it a case of waiting 2 days to see if they were fertalized and do hatch,how long should i give them ??they are still in the tank in a breading trap with a net round at the min as i dont want to mess round with them to much yet .
also is liqufry ok to feed them on and am i right in thinkin they wont eat till 5 days old and free swimming
iv heard its really hard to bread neons but so far so good. all iv done is keep a nice clean tank etc and they seem to have done it on there own . i dont no if my water is hard ,soft etc etc but thinking it should be ok if i got eggs
