Now that I've sorted out my leaky tank issues, my 160l is filled back to capacity, and as all the current stock (in sig) tends to stay around the bottom third, the top looks rather sparse and empty.

I'd like a singleton, definitely non-cichlid as I have 5 (peaceful) cupids in there, ideally that gets to 4-5 inches, and some bright colour would be great, as the rest of the fish in there are albino/greyish/whitish.

All I can come up with is a blue or gold gourami, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of larger gouramis. Is there anything suitable that I'm overlooking please?

Blue, Gold, Snakeskin, even Indian [Colisa Fasciata], Pearl maybe, possibly even Moonlight. You have options.
These are all gouramis by the way.

Tek oot.

Went for Indian Banded Gourami in the end :)

Wow, my tank has finally come to life!

It seems my diamond tetra just needed some dither fish, lol. They've always stayed around the bottom third with the cories and cupids, but less than 10 minutes after letting the 3 gourami out, they're all over the tank, and looking quite stunning.

A good buy indeed...

I had 2 Indians, and they were great.

Tek oot.
