ive a molly tank with 2 males and 7 females, with great success in breading and rearing the babies. over the last 6 weeks ive been losing a few of these mollys some of the younger 1s and a few of the adults. 1st of all they would be seen flicking against plants or the sand substrait, and then would be getting noticebly thinner even though they would still be eating . over a period of time it would then die? 1 of the mollys also did die with an eye prutruding ?

Try reading this about fish disease and that should narrow down what your fish might have. With the eye protruding; was it one eye, or both? Two eyes is pop-eye, and if it was only one, your fish may have scrated it and the "bubble" will go away eventually (I had a mooly this happened to. I hope this can get you on your way. Melafix will treat any bacterial infections and Pimafix will treat fungaul infections. They can be used together if need be!

the 1 eye was pertruding then it went down, not long after the fish started going thinner and thinner like the other mollys that have died , but they all seemed to be eating well up untill they died? with absolutelly no other visual signs of diseases to compare it to. its the thinning and scratching of the body which doesnt represent any diseases ive read about?
