Need Some Info On Weather Loaches

Got a tank today

Its for sale in the sale section, came with some clown loachs which I added to my group, and a weather loach.

I always thought these were a coldwater/temperate fish.

I dont want to put him in the tank without a heater until im 100% sure on this.

Its an albino and about 7inches long

It'll be ok in a heated tank, but would be better in a cooler one. They also really ought to be in a group of 6+; they can get to nearly a foot long too Lovely fish; my best mate loves weather loach; she's got 8 in a six footer; gorgeous fish they are

it certainly seems like a character... whether i keep him may be an issue, i'll keep it in the main tank for now, and hopefully find it a new home...
