Hi! I would like to ask a few questions here !

1. How do I create a brackish water environment? I'm keeping scats so I don't really know how much of the salinity are my scats able to survive in.
2. How do I know when my scat's need to be transferred over from freshwater to brackish water?
3. I'm going to keep a pacu so I'm thinking whether are pacus suitable tank mates for my scats? The pacu will be about 3 inches long while my scats are currently 1inch long.
4. Will pacus be able to tolerate brackish water as well? And I'm keeping ALL of them in a 100L tank :/

Thanks !! :)

I know this isn't advise you asked for so if you would like to ingore, please feel free. Pacu are large fish. Even at 3 inches they will need a tank much larger than 100L. They grow to almost 3 feet. Scats grow to be over a foot so a 100L will also be too small for them and I know that adults require a full marine environment not just brackish.

Also, I believe and I could be wrong but pacu are 100% freshwater and will not do well in brackish water.
