Hi there just looking for a bit of help with my stocking ideas, I've upgraded to a 65g tank now and starting to stock it. Initially I wanted to add in some dithers so I tried 10 Blue tetras but my Aequidens munched them down like a kitkat. So I took them back and Ive now got 3 Red head Tapajo in QT.
But! My next plan is to get some catfish for the bottom. I was going to go for cories but after the tetra massacre I dont think they would stand a chance and at £5ish each its too much of a risk. So I am coming to you for ideas on catfish. Open to anything at all groups or solos, not looking for plecs as I have a few at the moment I want something active that will zip around my sand. It/they needs to be medium sized to avoid being eaten, to give you an idea my Aequidens swallowed 2 inch tetras whole
Oh and I have a sand substrate 
My current stocking is in a Roma 240 with a Fluval FX5 and I have -
1 Aequidens Diadema
1 HRP (male)
3 Anostomus Ternetzi (may be selling these)
1 L235
1 L135
+ 3 Geophagus Tapajo "Red Head" in QT
