Need Some Ideas For A Small Tank!

Hello People!

Need some ideas here. I've currently got a 30L tank with a bit of everything in it. But I've recently discovered, 'Clear Seal' sell very small aquariums, very cheap. So I'm considering getting one, a 12" x 8" x 8" (Which is 13 litres / 3 Gallons) Can't decide what to put in it though... do I make it tropical like my other, and put in some neons or something? Maybe a Betta or Siamese Fighting Fish? But then most of the room in the tank is taken up by a heater and filter. Do I just put ADF's in there, because they don't need a filter or heater. Or should I make it cold water, and have one goldfish in there? Oh yeah, that reminds me, goldfish don't need heaters but do they need filters?

Any ideas will be appreciated!

I have one of those 12x8x8's much more spacious than you think, I have a juwel 50W heater in there and a fluval 1 filter.

I think if you perhaps used an elite stingray filter you'd have even more room as they are nice and small.....not hard to covert and much nicer than having anything plastic, tacky and scratchable!
Whatever you do don't put a goldfish in there....goldfish really need big tanks, they grow much bigger than people think and get disorders from being in too small a tanks.
ADF's I have never personally kept but I guess you could.....or a small shoal of something tropical....or maybe white clouds as they can do cold or warm water!
