Need Some Help...

Ok so I want to get 2 pairs (so basically buying 3 since I have 1) of German Blue Rams but I have read, been told, and shown so many ways to tell the gender of GBR that I honestly don't know who knows anything on it so if you can tell me that would be appreciated also I would like to know how to sex Julii Cory since I am going to get some more after my large tank settles in some more.

Can't help you with the GBR and really with any young cory's it's a bit of pot luck, adults you can look at their fins.Females have more rounded slightly larger ventral fins to catch the eggs (she makes a sort of basket with her fins) when she lays them and then makes the T position with the male and adds the sperm to the eggs before placing them on her chosen site. And also females are generally larger and fatter than males.

GBRs are (sort of) fairly easy to sex; easiest way is to look out for any with pink bellies; those are females. The males have no blue 'spangles' in their black spot, no black on the ventral fins, and a longer, more pointed back edge to both their dorsal and anal fins.

Well not even a week later after adding 1 male I have eggs but I am now worried about the fact they have been showing stress bars for almost 2 days now (day before and now after the egg laying)

I would thik that normal if they not been in long plus the fact that they will be protecting them, have they got a cave of sorts?

Do you have plenty of plants and bogwood? Any dither fish?

Plenty of bogwood which is where they built the nest even though the caves I made caves for them and have 8 coryes, 4 female betta, and 2 otto but the betta stay on the other side of the tank, coryes tend to only stay to the bottom of the bogwood, while my otto tend to stay on the amazon swords I have

Well I went to check on my fish and the stress bars are gone as well as the eggs
