Need Some Advice

im looking at setting up my 150g tank into a discus setup, what i want to know is will these fish be ok with discus's?

angel fish
large sailfin pleco
neons
kissing gourami's
upside down catfish
guppys
and maybe some other tetras.

otherwise just give me a list off fish that will go with discus's.

there will be alot of competition for food is the problem.

neons probably get eaten.

angels discus may fight.

guppies should really be in harder water when discus are in much softer water, and they may get attacked

plec should be fine.

I wouldn't worry about getting guppies for the reason mentioned above. Mainly they prefer hard alkaline water and all the other fishes you have listed prefer soft acid water.
Avoid small slender tetras and go for some with deeper bodies like bleeding hearts, black phantom, diamond & emperor tetras.
Also avoid black skirt/widow, serpae, columbian, red eye, & beunos aires tetras as they are fin nippers.
Some of the smaller Geophagus cichlids and Apistogramma dwarf cichlids do well with discus.
