Need Snail Eating Fish Suggestions Please...

My m8 currently has a juwel rio 125 with:

17 neon tetras
7 rummynose tetras
3 pentazona barbs
3 danios
1 gold barb
1 cory

He has a snail problem atm and he would like suggestions on snail eating fish that wont eat neons. Or he will need to buy a snail remover.

Try loaches/Botias, look for something like a yoyo loach or a zebra loach...(bear in mind that although found in most LFS clown loaches get quite large so those are not really suitable for a 125)

My uncle has a koi pond so I bought a small koi and he ate all the baby snails in two days flat. I gave the koi to my uncle after that. Know anyone with a koi you could 'borrow'?
I didn't want to use a chemical treatment to rid myself of the snails and couldn't house anymore permanent fish
It worked for me but I would suggest trying other methods. I knew I had a nice pond to put the koi in so..

Someone suggested to me to buy a small glass jar and place a piece of apple in it. After a couple of hours you should have baby snails in there. I've never tried this but it sounds feasible.

Or you could hand pick them out (which is a real pain in the you know what!)

I was also told to find the root of the problem..like did the snails come in with new plants or do you have full grown snails in the tank already? Apparently, so I was told, overfeeding the fish can help to baby snail infestation.

Clown loaches are good snail removers.

i would agree with emma, get some Zebra Loaches, i have 3 in my 4ft tank and no longer see any snails, always had them before putting in the loaches, they are also great little fish to watch, although mine were quite shy for the first 6 months.

Well Ive got a pakistani loach,

Its really good for getting rid of my snails, but ive noticed lately a couple of my guppies tails have vanished, but im not sure whether its him or not
