hey i am going to this really nice pet store tomorrow, its kinda far away so i need advice quick.

i wanna get something to eat the algae in my tank but also something that will get along with my other fishies and be happy in my small tank ( only 20 gallons).

i looked up several fish but i tsaw that they get to be 6 inches. is this too big for my tank?

i have:
1 leopard danio
3 harlequin rasboras
3 red phantom tetras
1 dwarf gourami

what kind should i get?

Yeah, they get too big and will need supplements anyways. Best to remove the algae yourself as no algae eating fish will do the job for you effectively.

I would recommend otocinclus (otos). They are little bitty things, only get to 1-1 1/2 inches, and are voracious algae eaters. My two 10 gal tanks are sparkling clean. I think they are pretty neat!

Good luck, whatever you choose!
