Hello all, I want to introduce a new invert to my tank.

A starfish? No brittles or serpents as my porcelain crabs eat them.

A blood srimp?

A coco worm?

More clams?

Christmas tree worms?

Skunk cleaner shrimp?

Any other ideas?

The current inhabitants of the tank, it's a 10 gallon, are

1 maxima clam
1 feather duster
1 electric blue hermit crab
1 short spine urchin
1 Atlantic sea cucumber
2 mocha clowns (pair)
1 Astrea
1 cerith
1margarita snail
1 blue leg hermit

Thanks! :good:

What kind of porcelain crabs are these? There are a few commonly sold varieties, but this is the first I've heard of one doing something like that.

A starfish?

Not in a 10gal for reef safe ones, and not with other small/slow inverts for the rest.

A coco worm?

Not in a tank that small that doesn't get supplemented (which I wouldn't recommend doing in a 10gal anyway), particularly one that already has a sizable filter feeder in it - since I presume by featherduster you mean one of the big species that stores sell individually.

TBH your tank sounds pretty well stocked already for a 10gal. I wouldn't recommend stuffing more animals into it unless it is demonstrating that the CUC is insufficient in some way.

The porcelains are atlantic and carribean. For a star fish, that's what I thought. I supplement the tank every other day with a powder for filter feeders. I do weekly gallon water changes and tests.
