it looks to me as it isn't a dechlorinator though!

Hey! Look on the bright side now i dont have to worruy about ammonia spikes nor nitrite spikes :)

Thanks!

You still a dechlorinator though,

The product you got is a so called bacteria in a bottle, which tbh probably won't work anyway,so still keep an eye on your stats.

Its good that you have a sense of humor about it  , but hopefully you'll think twice before using it. Its saying there won't be ammonia or nitrite spikes because it want to imply that it instantly cycles you, but of course if you poured it in your aquarium it would be the opposite as the dead bacteria would constitute organic materia with your heterotrophic bacteria would use to create.. an ammonia spike! After which, if you already have any A-Bacs, you would then conceivably get.. a nitrite spike! Then, to top it all off, the Calcium and other minerals being dumped in could conceivably give you.. a quick rise in the hardness of your water! (Or  , maybe there aren't enough active ingredients anyway and it would do... nothing!) Ah, the joys of snake oil.

The bright side that I see is that now you could pick up some Seachem Prime (assuming you're still within the first year of the tank) OR (if you're past the first year and that seems too expensive to you) a good pond dechlor. Either would save you money due to being very concentrated but the Prime is also really trustworthy at handling the various problems beginners usually have to deal with.
