Need Help With Fish Identification Please!

Hey, Im quite new to the hobby, was at my LFS purchasing some new fish for my 45 gallon ciclid tank, and was sold this fish as a jack dempsey, which it clearly isnt. I cant find anything looking exactly like it. Its a timid fish, with a light red bodycoloring, and electric blue spots on it. Anyone have any information regarding this animal?

Could be a Jewel Cichlid, but with pale colouration. These are african cichlids and can be very aggressive.

I've just typed Jewel cichlid into google images and I'd agree. There are some very similar looking images there

It's a Jewel. Female probably from the looks of it. They like eating snails and are VERY AGGRESSIVE! I bred them.
