hello everyone, need some advice as im picking up a new tank on saturday.
one catch.... comes with the fish which i definately do not want.

my question is, will a local fish shop ( eg world of water ) take them from me if i take them in?

i have no intention of letting these fish die, alternatively anyone on here want a few clown loaches and a black shark south east england?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

It probably depends on the size and health of them. They may not give you anything for them but even donating them will be better than letting them die.

Put and ad up in the buy/sell/swap secion - who knows ?
I'm sure can find a lfs that will have them if you donate them. Might just take a bit of rining around.

You should be able to find a lfs that will take them in.
I dropped a pleco from a friend's NASTY tank the other night off at the lfs and they were excited - almost like I had brought them christmas gifts.

:)

the black shark might pose an issue, but i doubt that any LFS wouldn't take in a school of clown loaches -- especially if they're free.

cheers guys, im in the uk, hertfordshire

made a few phone calls, and can off load the clown loaches to a freind of a friend, still no home for the black shark so ill call about the lfs' in the morning

thanks for the replies!
