Hi All

As im sure you all have done in the past im a little lost in the fish keeping world and am looking for ideas on what to do next.

I currently have a 180l tank with only a couple of fish in it i had a bit of a worm issue which is now sorted and i have re done the tank using very small dorset pea gravel so i basiclly have a blank canvas, What would you do?

Also i been playiing round with a power head ive got just wondered if they actually do any good for the tank apart from move the water around better i currently have my spray bar hitting the surface and my power head pointing toward the opposite corner at low level, do they help your filter work better at all?

BR

What are the dimensions of the tank, what are the fish in it now and is your water hard or soft?

Powerheads don't help your filter work better as such, but they can be useful for making sure you don't have any 'dead spots' or to blow the mulm more towards the filter intake.
