Well, I just reinstalled by 35 litre and it's up and running and almost cycled.

I know a simple google search will tell you, but! I would like someones own opinion / experience.

So what's the best fish for cleaning?

Thanks

Edit: the tank is a fry tank, for raising fry.

Fish generally "clean" only when starved. If you want something to eat algae, go for shrimp, otherwise burrowing snails are a good choice for stirring the substrate and eating dead plant leaves.

No. Because they poo like there's no tomorrow! All of them!

If you want to get rid of algae then really, do it yourself! If you want something to eat the scraps off the floor as a hobby, try some corys (they still need their own food).

Im not sure if there is any suitable pleco species for a 35litre tank, you could take a look in the relevant species section.

Loaches may work, I had a gold loach for around 3 months although when he got big he started sucking my other fish

Get a sp. SPONGEatus

Maybe I should get a gold loach and a couple of shrimp or corys
See above about loach.

Corys are schooling fish.

You still have not said what your problem actually is, or do you just want a bottom dweller?

The best way to combat algae may be a few amano shrimps, but in the end the best way to do it is just to get a sponge/scraper and do it yourself. Fish and shrimps don't tend to do enough if only in small quantities.

Have you considered Pitbull Pleco's?

needs at least 70 litres
