Can anyone ID these guys. Found them in the tank during a water change. Added new plants a couple weeks ago, no surprise there.

As you can see the lighter brown one is a flat shape and the other one is a normal snail shape. They are both very small.

They are in a glass at the moment. Should I keep them removed and remove any others if I find them?

The 'flat' one is a ramshorn, the other a tadpole, or physa, snail.

They're both classed as 'pest' snails. It's really up to you whether you put them back or keep them out. Some people don't mind a few snails, other people hate them, although they shouldn't breed out of control unless you're overfeeding the tank.

Thanks. I might leave them in the glass for now and see if I find any more.

it might be a good idea to start researching assassin snails as i had both the above pest snails and the only way i could "control" the mass invasion was to get assassins.. just a thought..:)

I'm guessing you have live plants.  These are the usual hitch hikers you get from the lfs.
