pardon my spelling in title, cant find anyway to fix it. Are there any moderators that can fix it for me?

I spent the day setting up a 20 with good plant substrate.
I visited a local preserve-lake and browsed the shore.
I cam across some moss that I swear is either Java Moss/Christmas Moss or something from the same family. I grabbed a bunch of that and about 8 different man plants, along with some real nice driftwood.
this is just after ice out..

I loaded the tank with some rosy reds....15 cents each,,,feeder fish I guess.
Its kind of an experimental tank for now, with sights on my quarantine tank. I found this ball of fern/moss that I would swear is java type moss.... I'm going to run this tank and see how these local plants do...see if the spread or even grow... I guess its my "Test Tank"  I'll take some pics when it clears up a little more and maybe you guys can have a go at this stuff,,,,

I may try my hand at CO2

You're at ice out already??? I'm so jealous.

These are great looking plants. My only worry would be going from very cold water to tropical temps.

I used rosy reds which can live at almost freezing ( have some in my koi pond)so I have the water as low as it will go for now in the house.

I tied a few choice pieces to the driftwood tree as another experiment to see if it will grow underwater and if so if it will attach.

The water is still cloudy from the planting substrate, it said I didn't need to rinse it...ummmm not so....rinse it

so far so good,, nitraites and amonia are a lot lower than I expected,, still needs H2O change though

all mosses are still triving and fish are all still swimming, temp gradually up to 74 degrees

If I can make sure all these plants and mosses are safe and get the water the same as My main tank this would make an awesome quarenteen/hospital tank..
