well that's cool, you got a pic of your potential theme or.. the tank itself.... I'd love to do one of these nano's for my office at work.. maybe one day :)

Well i plan for bottem covering to have peice of slate (which covers the whole tanK) with grassy moss.Probably the java moss i already have if not would you reccomend any other which will stick to slate?I don't really have a clue what else i am going to do.Any ideas?

I've had great success with the Hagen product. That's what I used when I had my nano up and running. And someday when I set it up again, that's what I 'll use on it!

Regarding the Yellow Brick Road -- that sounds pretty cool -- gives you lots of different scenes to choose from (the dark forest, the poppy fields, etc..)

It would be good with red plants and a mixture of bushy plants do you think?,but these all require high lighting(atleast the red plants) :/.Going out very soon to get it now!

Get the hagen nutrafin and use the pinned recipe.

I just added some baby vallis dubyana from my other tank plus a golden barb (his friends are long gone  ) to help cycle.I have also put a mature filter pad in it and fild it with 75% of my discus water and the rest bottled water.

[Is that the azoo tank about 28l with the 2 lights switches (one normal & one moon) that has the compartments in the back ?

If so, are you putting a heater in there and does it fit in the back compartment if you are ? Was looking at this in my LFS to take my betta and put it in the kitchen for her-who-wants-a-no-fuss-tank

p.s. where did you get it for £30 instead of the £50 I have seen it for ?

Yeh thats the tank bought it second hand, but it's B-NEW!There would be space for a 50 W heater(as the filter is so big),but our lounge is so warm (because of our vivs/tanks) i don't need heaters any more ,haha.Btw the lights have a good effect...i dunno what watt they are though :S

I just ordered £ 10.00 worth of plants, lol(i know a bit over done).I ordered 15 -Four leaf Clover
A very unusual aquarium plant as the name suggests, spreads across aquarium from underground runners.
Origin Height Ph Light Temp
Asia 3 to 4 inches 6.5-8 Moderate 58-70
5-Wheat Plant
A mid to foreground plant
Origin Height Light Temp
Malaysia 5 to 7 inches Moderate 71.6

and 5 of something else but i forgot lol..

Trouble is this tank has built in lighting, and i dunno what wattage they are.
