Warning, photo of deceased fish included.
Tank size: 30 Gal (115 lt)
pH: 8.0-8.2
ammonia: 0-.25 (Hard to tell on the kit: in the picture it looks like 1.0, but trust me it isn't actually that high, it's just the angle I took the picture at)
nitrite:0
nitrate:0
kH: N/A
gH: N/A
tank temp: 76 F
Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): I noticed earlier today my albino Zebra Danio was unable to swim properly, had similar problems to this fish (Also one of mine, sad to say I've had Danio's die of this before):
With this Danio I noticed (Because of it's abilno color) that it had red all along it's back and hear it's tail, as well as some of it's tail fin missing. I'm not sure if this may be due to ammonia poisoning or stress or being attacked by another fish. None of my other fish show any sign of ammonia issues, and none of my fish are particularly territorial.
I thought it may be ammonia poisoning so I did a 65 lt water change.
Volume and Frequency of water changes: Normally 40-45 lt once a week
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: API tap water dechlorinator, Flourish plant fertilizer
Tank inhabitants:
1 F Pearl Gourami
4 Zebra Danios
2 F Platys
6 Panda Corys
1 M BNP
Cherry Shrimp
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): Four danios, including this one were the newest additions, I got them last sunday.
Exposure to chemicals: None other than listed above
Digital photo (include if possible):
As you can see, there is pink-red almost like burns along it's back and near it's tail, but I don't know what could have caused such coloration, all of my other danios thus far seem fine.
