They have a very good calming effect if I'm having a nightmare of a day. I decided a cold water tank was the safest bet as I'm only here work hours (obviously!)

Man i only feel myself nagging now. Hate to tell you this mate bute goldfish shold have atleast 20G for 1 fish and another 10G for every extra one. But you should be fine while they are small. I can see 3 in there and they have to be one of the most dirty fish around.

I hate to tell you this as well but your tank is haunted
I can see a ghostly figure at the back in the 2nd picture. It seems to be holding a camera.
You are right though.I find that watching fish really reduces stress

Those fish will get to big for that tank. I'd recommed returning all the goldfish you have and get a heater and 1 male betta. Does the tank have a filter? If not you will need to get one.

you and your advertisments for phones  im not sure why you would want a poop machine goldfish in a tank(luck maybe?) other possible tank stockings would be some african dwarf frogs or like durbkat said, a betta. i, would get two dwarf puffers, but i wouldnt suggest you getting this if you just started fish keeping. i know people will disagree with me with keeping 2 puffers in a 5 gallon, but from experience, i know it can work, as long as there are enough cover.

You can tell it's a k750i?!! (can you tell me what size memory card's in it though?!)
I didn't want to go tropical because the workshop can get quite cold at night and a heater would be working overtime trying to maintain a constant temp. I know they will outgrow this tank, I have a much larger cold water tank at home so once that happens they'll be coming home.

How did I know as soon as I saw the first pic that the first thing someone was going to do was go on about the size of the tank?

Although it is too small, you could probably find some other kind of cold water fish to keep instead of goldfish.

here is a link to some possibilities

Not sure what size your tank is, or how many would be quitable - but the full research part is up to you :)

geez, i wouldve guessed 256  i dont know of anybody that has a 64 or a 128 stick. everybody i know either has 32, 256, 512, or a gig(pretty much everything but 64, 128, and 2 gigs)
