Hi all - here are the pics of my first non-bowl tank. I have had a Biorb60 for about 5months but decided to upgrade to a 'proper' tank. This is the result; I finished it a couple of days ago. What do you think? It's the first time I've ever done anything liek that, so I know it's far from perfect! By the way, I'm looking on where to buy ammonia from in central London so I can do fishless cycling - any ideas?

very nice tank.a bigger picture would show it off better, very nice though

Very nice looking layout and a good tank!

Just been to B&Q Warehouse in Tootenham Hale, London (noe of their largest stores). Actually got to speak to a guy that keeps fish so he knew what I was after it for. But, alas, B&Q don't stock it. I also called Homebase (I only know of one in Wandsworth) and they said they don't have it, either :( Any other ideas? Does anyone online in the UK sell it? Even my LFS (Aquatic Design Centre, Great Portland Street) don't know where to get it from :(

That really is a lovely aquascape, particularly for a first attempt - believe me. I would be very proud, you obviously have a natural ability.

Your tank looks great! I love the aquascaping -- I wouldn't have ever guessed that was your first 'proper' tank!

I really like your tank.

Try pharmacist. Here in Finland you can find ammonia only from there.

Thanks for the compliments :) Found some ammonia at a local chemist! It is regular household ammonia, pure, 9.5% w/w. And got a pipette to administer it with as well. Any ideas on how much I would be expected to add at this strength for a 180litre planted tank, KH = 10, tap water Ph = 8+, CO2 cannister added...
