My Uaru - Poor Pics

poor pics but lovely fish, I have two one has grown far bigger than the other in a short space of time

looking good buddy, quick question, my lfs has one at 5-6inche's for 13pound's, what do you think, should i get him or those three pink tails at 8pound's each

get the UARU they are beautiful fish despitet their bland colouring and they are nice and chilled as well

ps: I was reading aboutColumbia and Blue Eyed plecs and that problem is getting them to be exported. when your there will you catch me some and send me them??

haha oh yes the blue eyed panaque well when i move to medellin colombia, your welcome to visit on holiday anytime, we have a big farm which has stunning view's over the ande's and great river's and lake's near by......also blue eyed are most common near to bogota <capital>which is where most plane's fly into,

Yes iam concidering the urua good price and hopefully it will get on with my chocolate cichlid as he is placid,i know these are ment to be peaceful,

No i bailed on the idea, was thinking at present tank's in harmony, don't wan't to rock the boat....
No not easy jet, either american airline's<around 500pound's or airfrance, serious mate once iam there anyone who want's the trip of a lifetime is welcome

UARU.A great fish but you need more than 2 min group of 4 thats why 1 is growing faster than the other with 4 they will do a lot better

they are stunning fish in pics

I didnm;t know that bout grups!!

my larger one is getting brigt blue in its pelvic fins it looks lovely

yeah uaru.a are cracking fish.
its true they do better in groups, but as a pair they will be fine. Looks like yours have a fair amount of growing to do yet.
their colours are subtle but when you really look they aren't just 'brown' fish at all, but have oranges and electric blues all over them.

needless to say they are one of my very favourite fish.

yeah the bigger one is only about 4 inches but he has had a spurt of growth in last few weeks and I noticed the blue yesterday
