Dwarf gouramy, Colisa lalia? It looks like honey gouramy, Colisa chuna to me...

Your tank looks nice, but put those roots under gravel.

only did the tank today and noticed the roots so i am waiting till tomorrow when i water change to place roots under the gravel. Thought the fish would of had enough of my hands in the tank for one day.

Hmmmmmm he was sold a dwarf but i will research honey's now

Ive got the same tank - Looks Really Nice.
Have you Noticed the Color change on your "Paprika" rED hONEY gOURAMI Yet?, it looks like its Dominant Genes are Restablishing themselves.

Lovely Tank, Very Clear Shots.

Is that a LUTINO Neon I spy with my beedy little EYE.

Ah so its def a honey gourami, will phone the shop and get them re-labled asap.

Yep its a lutino neon, the LFS allways has a tank full so i snapped up 4 and he accidently added 1 more for free :D

yep i clean it quite regularly as it is easy just to pick out scrub and place back in.

I clean the tank too much i think its compulsive . I have even woken up in my sleep starting a water change in my old tank on my bedside table in my old house :*)

Clean wood is nice but why don't you let algae or plants grow on it? I've got a big piece of bogwood in my tank I've been actively trying to get colonized by algae. :p

Thick Lipped Gourami

Given the Paprika Food Dye to Change its Color. Your Gourami, if it Successfully Restablishes its natural Coloring Will be Amazing.

I've seen Thick lipps Being Dyed red alot latley and Most people Don't Even realise its been done untill you tell them about it.

Thanks for the pix - I take it from the Change in Color you have had him for Over 3-5 Months Give ot Take. Am I right. If so you may notice the Natural Black Colors Coming Thru, If So them He is not far from becoming his natural Coloration.

Mine Never made it thru the color change Cause of Dropsy.

Lovely Fish and Tank,.

More Lutino Pix Please

only had him 3 / 4 weeks Gill!

When you say dyed that obviously really bad for the fish yeah??

Teelie I love clean wood but saying that i havent cleans the wood for a bout 2 months.

Dyed is bad, yes. Think of someone tattooing your entire body at once. Without antiseptic or any kind of painkiller.
