scarlet badis are nice looking and i love pygmy corys,, i think they would work quite well in my tank actually want a colourful attractive shoaling fish in there too though, and if i kept pygmy corys id have to get a shoal of those which gives me less to work with when im wanting to stock another shoal of fish oh well, i'll figure something out
i like cardinals but they prefer a lower ph and softer water and my water has a ph of 7.6 and is slightly hard, well most tetras prefer soft acidic water anyway, i do like penguin tetras though. hmm im gonna attempt to figure out a stocking plan tonight, i'll let y'all know
hmm i think for my stock i will go with...
paracheirodon innesi (neon tetra)
couple of otocinclus
and maybe an apisto of some kind
and some shrimp of some kind.
i went with the neons purely because every kind of tetra i look at i love but theres always something that they seem to lack that would attract me(not quite sure what lol), and neons were what attracted me to the fishy world in the first place and they have nice colours and a nice sparkle and i've always loved them so i will give them a go, never kept them before but quite excited to get myself some!
