Yep, the two plants furthest left are some sort of Spider plant i think, they may be fine for a while but could die off all of a sudden and polute your tank, remove them and pot em on your windowsill is probably the best idea.

The banded fish is a Distochodus Sexfasciatus, will reach as long as your tank and more, unless you plan on upgrading to a tank about 10X the volume of your current tank it's not suitable for the lil Sexfasciatus.

Nice looking tank but a few fish in there that will need a much bigger tank when they grow to adulthood. Particularly the Distichodus - not sure which one it is but it should grow to about 15 inches at the very least. Also the clown loaches will need a bigger tank - though much slower growing than the Distichodus - I would seriously consider rehoming the Distichodus.

How big is that tank?

Wills

I think both of the variegated plants on the left are non-aquatic and should probably be taken out.

The red and black striped fish is Distichodus sexfasciatus; lovely fish, but I hope the OP is aware that they can easily reach 20" or more in length...

thanks for the comments i am aware that some of my fish will grow to a pretty large size. i have got a 125 litre tank at the mo but i am lookin at gettin a 5ft tank very soon :good:

thanks for the heads up on the plant. better go and buy some more

Hi again I have one question to ask if those plant are some sort of spider plant would they have done any damage to my fish?? Why would a fish shop sell house plants

:shout: HA

The PetCo's around here sell nothing but house plants as "aquatic" ...... like said before they survive for a bit byut then just rot....

P.S. you know that the air curtain in the back will only help in diffusing the C02 and slow your plants growth?

The 2 multi coloured plants on the left are both non-aquatic.
Maybe Dracaena sanderiana?

They will only harm the fish in the way of what is produced when they decay and rot, as it is (no rot) they will be fine but its advisable to remove them as soon as posisble. :good:

With the fish in their, i'd go for more broad leaved, stronger plants that wont be knocked about and torn etc... :good:
