My Tank

okay so i have a fluval 125 which contains:
2 angel fish,
5 guppies,
3 rummy-nose tetras,
4 tiger barbs,
2 kuhli loaches (one has done the hiding trick i think ??)
1 pleco.

i have 2 ornaments but am thinking of getting another one so i can buy 2 catfish, 4 real plants and also 1 fake one.

I found 2 dead fish a couple days ago (1 blue guppy and 1 rummy) and i don't know who could have attacked them, (they had no tails or fins left). i asked for advise of my friend and he said it was my tiger barbs. i have seen them attack my kuhli loaches before but no other ones. I see my angelfish alot of the time attacking i think my other fish, they are either doing that or playing. i really don't know who is doing this ??

tiger barbs are lovely fish and look great in a shoal but they are a fish that lives up to its reputation

I;ve kept them with angels as a youth and they just make a mess of the angels

I coubt they;d be directly responsible for the death of the rummy although they may have pestered a guppy to death

Its probably the Tiger Barbs, these fish are absolute devils if kept in groups below 6.

ive got a group of 6 tiger barbs and boy do the males chase eachother ! i think my mollies are kinda picking up the bad habit from them too lol.If it gets any worser than im going to have to have seperate tank for them

What kind of pleco do you have? I recently had to give up my gibby pleco as he was killing my low lying fish at night.

I have just a common pleco, and I also see the angels chase everyone in the tank. Do you think it could be them ?

tiger barbs with angels

angels must be 2 inch or over.. tiger barbs no less then 6.

i keep them together all the time.. no problam.

when u keep barbs with big angels. barbs will shoal full time..
